Objectives and contents
The objective of this course is to get acquainted with the finite element method for the numerical simulation of incompressible fluid flows.

Exercises
The exercises are performed using open source finite element codes to solve increasing complexity problems to the Navier-Stokes equations.

Required knowledge
Incompressibe fluid mechanics, finite element method, finite differences and finite volumes methods.
