P-adic integration

During Spring 2014 the geometry working seminar in MAA110 will focus on p-adic integration. The aim is to introduce various forms of p-adic integration: Weil's and Igusa's theory of integration of gauge forms on a p-adic variety, Coleman's theory of p-adic line integration and the geometric theory of motivic integration.

Papers and books:

We are planning to discuss material from the following papers and books:

Avni, Aizenbud "Representation growth and singularities of the moduli space of local systems"

Coleman, R. Various Inventiones papers, somewhat difficult to find.

Colmez, P. Intégration sur les variétés p-adiques, Asterisque 248
