IBI postdoc club

This is a hello-word for IBI Postdocs.

Do you want to meet your peers, find out about what is going on in IBI, build a network here at EPFL before you move on to the next stages of your career?

We are interested in creating a community of Postdocs in the Institute of Bioengineering at EPFL.

From the inputs of all of you, we plan to host social events, career seminars, Postdoc talks and informal ways to learn about each other's expertise.

We had our first meet-up on 27 September 2012 (see picture of some of us below), with wine and cheese to discuss whether there is interest in bringing together people with diverse expertise and from different laboratories in various buildings on campus. We definitely want this to be a ground-up organization, the activities of which reflect what interests our community.

So far, we have a blog and a moderated LinkedIn group, which we strongly encourage you to join!
