RAID Partitionning
Dans le cas d-une partition
fdisk -l
parted /dev/sdc
mkfs.xfs /dev/sdc1
vim /etc/fstab
add this in /etc/fstab
/dev/sdc1 /export/backup xfs defaults 1 2
mount -a
Dans le cas de deux raids controllers que l-on veut merger :
First I made sure that both partitions have the same size. /dev/sdc is
100Gig larger then /dev/sdb.
[root@server ~]# parted /dev/sdb
(parted) p

[root@server ~]# parted /dev/sdc
(parted) p

As a second step I created a software RAID0 using mdadm:
[root@server ~]# mdadm --create /dev/md0 -n 2 -l 0 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1
To check the RAID use a
[root@server ~]# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid0]
md0 : active raid0 sdc1[1] sdb1[0]
11523435776 blocks 64k chunks
This size of disk must be formatted using xfs, everything else isn't
capable of handling such large volumes:
[root@server ~]# mkfs.xfs /dev/md0
Finally I added the partition to the filesystem table and mounted it:
[root@server ~]# vi /etc/fstab
/dev/md0 /export/backup xfs defaults 1 2
[root@server ~]# mount -a
[root@server ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
...
/dev/md0 11T 5.1M 11T 1% /export/backup
