This is due to the fact that one-day tourists act very spontaneously and stay at home if weather or snow conditions are not adequate. Overnight guests do, on the other hand, normally book in advance. Long stays from overnight guests assure less dependency on weather and snow conditions. This is due to the fact that normally overnight guests book in advance.
