File server

You must be connected from inside EPFL of with the EPFL VPN from outside.

ICLAB users have access to a file server maintained by the STI. The user quotas are:
- 30 GB for a student or assistant
- 50 GB for a secretary
- 100 GB for a professor
 

Users own a personal folder named after their GASPAR username, and also all have access to the shared folder iclab-commun in which are stored Powerpoint and LaTeX templates, conference proceedings…
 

To add a shortcut in Windows:
1.      Be connected inside EPFL or with VPN
2.      Open a file explorer window (not internet, click on User or This PC for example)
3.      Click in the top bar on Map network drive
4.      Put the address: \\sti1files.epfl.ch\iclab
5.      Click on Connect using different credentials
6.      Put GASPAR username as intranet\username
7.      Put your GASPAR password and remember the credentials
