Lightsolve can also compute statistics of the envelope exposure to sun, giving the percentage of hours of sun lit envelope in 9 directions (8 cardinal + 1 vertical), over the whole year for a given model and output data in the form of a csv file and 3D model made of the points used to sample the envelope (you can view the envelope in 3D). This feature must be enabled in the second tab of the Material validation dialog, right after loading a file; beware: it slows down the loading time considerably.
