Tenure procedure & application
The procedure for the evaluation of a tenure application file, which begins before the end the initial 6-year PATT period, involves the following actors:
- STI Dean
- STI Academic Evaluation Committee (CEA-STI)
- EPFL Academic Evaluation Committee (CEA-EPFL)
- EPFL President
The PATT is generally interviewed by both the CEA-STI and CEA-EPFL.
If successful, the EPFL President sends a request for nomination as Associate Professor to the ETH Board. The tenure evaluation procedure is coordinated by STI Faculty Affairs.
