To do in Switzerland

This wiki contains information on things to do in Switzerland. It contains mostly hiking trails which are easy or relatively easy. I did usually test them. Envoy! Alain Wegmann (alain.wegmann@epfl.ch)

Maps

Switzerland is notorious for its maps. They are published by SwissTopo (http://www.swisstopo.admin.ch/) and can be bought on-line or in libraries. In libraries, you can also buy the maps with hiking trails printed on them (not sure if they can be bought on-line). 

The best one are at scale 1:25 000. There are also good ones at the scale of 1:50 000.

You can access these maps on the web freely at http://map.geo.admin.ch/. Only a small part of the map can be seen. You can buy DVDs with all maps on-line.
