The autumn semester will be divided in four main projects.

My Barents:  A personal and introductory project – with the goal of self reflection and instigating your knowledge and understanding of the Barents Sea.

Case Studies:  Group work - each group will conduct investigations of territories so as to understand the issues and conditions which affect development at this scale.

Territorial Strategies: Group work – groups of “specialists” will be formed to investigate specific themes and topics relating to the Barents sea.

Territorial Constitution: Group work – Design teams will be composed of specialists from each topic. Together the design team will develop proposals for the sustainable development and evolution of the territory.

The goal of the semester is to develop a comprehensive “Territorial Constitution” for the Barents Sea.  This planning document will provide the basis for the development of the individual architectural projects in the Spring semester of laba.
