At CEMI we implemented PATSTAT on the free license MySQL database engine.

We have done the following steps to upload the raw data (valid for 2006 April and September versions):

1. Use the following SQL script to create PATSTAT tables (Text file, 6Kb)
    
2. Use the following SQL script to upload the data into the tables (Text file, 11Kb)
    
3. Use the following SQL script to create new columns of interest (Text file, 0.8Kb)
    
4. Use the following SQL script to create indexes for all tables (Text file, 5Kb)
