Physics of living systems

We try to communicate as simply and clearly as possible between groups with diverse topics and techniques. We want the PIs, students and postdocs of each of the groups to be able to see into the other groups' activities and be able to start collaborations. We have short talks, typically 10-20 minutes depending on the number of presenters etc., focusing on questions and approaches and only key results. We also present famous experiments from history, and give chalk talks about new ideas or theory. Drinks and snacks are available throughout to allow a relaxed and informal atmosphere for open discussion.If you wish to present your work please do not hesitate to email vania (vania.sergy@epfl.ch) with the date and the title of your talk. We have a PLS Meet-Up every 3rd Friday of the Month. We are looking forward to see you.
