Dialysis against buffer, written by Rosa Schier
Buffer : Typically buffer PBS or 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM HEPES 7.5 in 2-4L
- 2-4L of buffer in a beaker + a magnetic bar
- Put the dialysis membrane (from Spectra/Por) (about 15cm for 50mL of solution) in PBS 1x to get the membrane wet + clip one end (write down the name of the solution)
- Put the solution in the dialysis membrane and close with another clip
- Shake slowly in the fridge at 4°C overnight
- Get the solution out and take a sample of the PBS 1x (as blank)
- Measure the concentration A280nm on the nanodrop (2ul of solution on the nanodrop)
