Tourism & Climate Change in Switzerland

Tourism is one of the main sources of income in many Swiss regions, but the industry is highly sensitive to climate conditions. Tourism in Switzerland is therefore affected (both positively and negatively) by climate change, and people will have to adapt to the changing conditions. In which regions are impacts actually happening and to what extent do they affect the viability of tourism in those regions? Mapping vulnerability is becoming one of the most effective method to answer these questions. 

The aim of this wiki is to develop a tool to enhance adaptation in the tourism sector by delivering the most recent information available, by raising climate change awareness among stakeholders and decision-makers, and generally by stimulating discussion and soliciting feedback.
